Find duplicated files on your file system
10/03/2010 | mad mad mod

A very nice tool to find duplicated files on your file system is "fslint". It is available from the standard Fedora repository. To install fslint just enter the following command: [root@blackmod  [ ... ]

I don't know why, but I hate it if someone says Linux as in "Line ux".  5IfHm6R5le0

Fedora 13  - Waiting for Goddard

Because of some remaining bugs on the "blocker list" the Fedora team has decided to postpone the release for Fedora 13 for one week (F-13-FInal readiness meeting)

But finally, Fedora 13 (codename Goddard) is ready for download (http://fedoraproject.org/get-fedora). Check out the feature list here http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Releases/13/FeatureList.

There are many new features in Fedora 13 like NFS V4 is now the default, KDE 4.4 and Gnome 2.30, new virtualization features like a XEN to KVM migration tool and many other things. One of the coolest things in Fedora 13 might be the Btrfs system rollback support.

With Btrfs You can manually create a new snapshot and it will automatically create a new disk snapshots before each yum transaction. Also, the user should be able to change which snapshot will be next booted into. See the feature description here: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Features/SystemRollbackWithBtrfs
